I got a little excited when I read about this little piece of news...Laura Ashley are going to start selling an archive collection of its clothing. From these photos it promises to be a true vintage dream - original fabrics, prints and styles from the 60s and 70s have been revisited and adapted to create a thoroughly modern range. I adore their prints and these styles seem to encompass all that is retro/modern. The range will be available from a select number of stores and online from April 16th. Will this save the brand that is Laura Ashley? Of late their name has become synonymous with the words "traditional" and "old fashioned" - not necessarily modern or retro. I am looking forward to April 16th...lets see what they come up with.
